Here’s the latest on his status.Head coach Tom Herman provided an update on Ehlinger today. It’s a promising one.Ehlinger is on schedule with his recovery, according to Herman, and it’s possible he’ll be able to play this weekend. Texas is set to take on Oklahoma State.“I think we’re on track,” Herman told reporters. “We got to see if we continue to stay that way. It’s one thing to throw a football 30 times in a training room to a trainer. It’s another thing to go out there and let the ball rip and roar around the field during a practice.”Ehlinger suffered a shoulder sprain during Texas’ win over Baylor on Oct. 13.Texas is set to practice in pads on Tuesday.
