ESPN’s Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit hinted at the possibility of Helton returning during their broadcast of the USC-Notre Dame game on Saturday night.USC would reportedly have to give Helton a gigantic buyout if the Trojans were to fire him, too, and giving him at least one more season would bring that number down.Still, there will be plenty of USC fans upset with the decision to bring Helton back. Several top boosters had reportedly been pressuring the Trojans to make a change.
